Inherited Mechanical Talent

This photo is of my grandson, Aaron, repairing his car when he was three.

I marvel that he propped the rear wheels so he could see better. He was imitating his Dad, Lew, whom he had seen doing repairs on his car. Probably, he’d also seen my husband, his grandpa, doing repairs also.
This mechanical ability of the Gundy men is traced back to Lloyd’s great-grandfather who, in 1850’s France, invented a loom for weaving cloth.
I marvel at their talent as I have not one gene that’s mechanical!
